1. Shipping & Delivery

How long does delivery take?
Orders placed before 2:00 PM GMT (Monday to Friday) are dispatched the same day. Delivery times once shipped:

  • Ireland: 1 to 3 business days
  • EU: 3 to 7 business days
  • Rest of EEA: 5 to 10 business days

How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is free for Ireland and EU orders over €30. For orders below €30, a flat shipping fee of €3.99 applies, regardless of weight or destination within Ireland and the EU.

Do you ship outside the EU?
At the moment, we ship within Ireland, the EU, and the EEA. We're working on UK and global shipping. Sign up to our newsletter to be notified.

Will I be charged customs or duties?
No customs for orders within the EU. For Ireland and the EEA, all applicable VAT is already included in the price you see.

How do I track my order?
You'll receive a tracking link by email as soon as your parcel is dispatched. If you don't see it, check your spam folder or email us.

My package hasn't arrived. What now?
First, check the tracking link. If it's been more than 10 business days since dispatch, email contact@garnets.ie with your order number and we'll investigate immediately.


2. Returns & Exchanges

What is your return policy?
You can return any item within 30 days of receiving your order for a full refund. Items must be unused, unworn, and in original packaging. We don't charge any restocking fees.

What about the EU 14-day right of withdrawal?
Under EU law you also have 14 days from receiving your goods to cancel without giving a reason. If you cancel within this period, we'll refund the cost of the item plus the standard delivery fee you originally paid.

Are there items that can't be returned?
For hygiene reasons, earrings and pierced jewellery cannot be returned unless faulty.

How long do refunds take?
Refunds are processed within 5 business days of us receiving and inspecting your return. The money will appear back on your original payment method.

Who pays for return shipping?
The customer covers return shipping unless the item arrived faulty, damaged, or incorrect, in which case we cover all costs.

How do I start a return?
Email contact@garnets.ie with your order number and we'll send you the return instructions.


3. Products & Materials

Are your pieces hypoallergenic?
Yes. All Garnets jewellery is nickel-free and designed for sensitive skin, including pieces in our Kids collection.

Will my jewellery tarnish?
Our pieces are tarnish-resistant thanks to premium gold plating over a stainless steel core. With normal care they'll keep their shine for years.

Is the gold real?
Our jewellery is gold-plated (not solid gold), which is why we can offer beautiful designs at affordable prices. The plating is high-quality and long-lasting.

Are the stones real diamonds?
The stones are premium hand-set zirconia, the highest grade of cubic zirconia, with the same brilliance as diamond at a fraction of the cost.

How do I care for my jewellery?

  • Avoid contact with perfume, lotions, and cleaning products.
  • Remove before swimming, showering, or working out (occasional contact with water is fine).
  • Store in the original pouch or a dry box, away from direct sunlight.
  • Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth.

Do you offer different sizes?
Yes. Many bracelets and rings come in multiple sizes, shown on each product page. If you're between sizes, email us and we'll help you choose.


4. Orders & Payment

What payment methods do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, UnionPay, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Shop Pay, PayPal, and Bancontact.

Is checkout secure?
Yes. All payments are processed through Shopify Payments, PayPal and other PCI-DSS compliant providers. We never see or store your card details.

Can I change or cancel my order?
If your order hasn't shipped yet, email us as soon as possible and we'll do our best. Once dispatched, the order can't be changed but you can return it under our 30-day policy.

Can I order a gift and send it directly to someone else?
Yes. Just enter the recipient's address as the shipping address at checkout. Our packaging is gift-ready: no prices on the packing slip.

I never received my order confirmation email.
Check your spam folder. If it's not there, email contact@garnets.ie with the email address you used at checkout and we'll resend it.


5. About Garnets

Where are you based?
Garnets is based in Tallaght, Dublin 24, Ireland. Every order is packed and shipped from here.

Are you a real Irish business?
Yes. We're a registered business in Ireland with a real address, VAT compliance, and a real human (Estefane) who reads every email.

Do you have a physical store?
Not yet. We're online-only at the moment, but we're considering pop-up events in Dublin in 2026. Follow us on Instagram for updates.
